When people refer to the "vagina," what they usually mean is the vulva, which includes all the external parts, including the inner and outer lips. The vagina connects the cervix and the vulva, playing a very important role (and we’re not just talking about giving us a method for peeing). Let’s get some of the basics out of the way before we dig into specific anatomy.
